Built around 1870 for the Raleigh and Gaston Railroad Company on land deeded to the company by Lewis Reavis in 1837.

Restoration and renovations are currently underway.

Renovations are being done to preserve the brick, restore the façade, preserve the character and architecture of the building, and ultimately, to ensure this iconic treasure will stand firmly in the city’s center for many generations to come.

 

Garnett Street Station, one of Henderson’s most iconic historic landmarks.

Located in the city center at 208 North Garnett Street, across from the Henderson Fire Station and Clock Tower. Currently owned by the limited liability company, Garnett Street Station, LLC, a subsidiary of Triangle North Healthcare Foundation, the former railroad freight depot now functions as an office building with eight comfortable suites.
